(The Frisky) — there is a large number of misconceptions about lesbians. I am met with them daily and, honestly, hearing these items is much like getting smacked in the face with a wet cloth.

Often, whenever someone fires down a label, I am therefore shocked that i simply stay there, staring, starting and shutting my lips like a large, foolish goldfish.

Therefore I’m planning to just just just take this possibility to get right up back at my soapbox and stamp down all of the stupid, ignorant misconceptions we have actually heard through the years. Hopefully, next time we hear one of these simple things i will eloquently explain why it’s untrue instead of just stammering, ” just exactly What!? Jerk! “
